Over 40 years ago, David Moreno left behind his engineering career to return to his roots and fulfill a dream: to create a winery that blended history, passion, and exceptional wines. Today, alongside his daughters Gemma and Paula, his family project, David Moreno Wineries, has become a benchmark in Rioja.
Located in the town of Badarán, in the Alto Najerilla region, this family-run winery has been combining tradition and innovation since 1981. Its iconic underground cellars, such as Don Ponciano, La Gran Cueva, and Abuelo Damián, offer a journey to the heart of winemaking, where each bottle ages in a privileged setting.
Moreover, their historic vineyards, like Pago Alto de Santiago (1948), capture the unique character of Alto Najerilla in every glass, thanks to their respect for tradition and dedication to excellence at every stage of production.
